Ride N Revive
Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy
Fair policies for cancellations, rescheduling, no-shows, dispatch, and refund eligibility.
PREAMBLE
At Ride N Revive™, we understand that plans change, emergencies happen, and vehicle issues may sometimes resolve before our technician arrives.
This Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy has been designed to be fair to customers, mechanics, and service partners while ensuring service availability for everyone.
POLICY DETAILS
1. Policy Objective
This policy governs:
- Service cancellations
- Booking modifications
- Rescheduling requests
- No-show situations
- Mechanic unavailability
- Emergency service cancellations
- Refund eligibility related to cancellations
By booking any service through Ride N Revive, you agree to this Cancellation Policy.
2. Cancellation Time Windows
- A. Free Cancellation: Customers may cancel a booking without any cancellation fee if no technician has been assigned, no spare parts have been ordered, and no service partner has been dispatched. (Cancellation Charge: ₹0)
- B. Technician Assigned: If a technician has already accepted the booking and started preparation for the service. This compensates the technician for reserved time and operational costs. (Cancellation Charge: Up to 20% of the booking value or ₹99, whichever is higher)
- C. Technician En Route: If the assigned technician is already travelling to the customer's location. (Cancellation Charge: Up to 30% of booking value or ₹199, whichever is higher)
- D. Technician Arrived at Location: If the technician reaches the service location and the customer is unavailable, refuses service, provides incorrect location, or vehicle is inaccessible. (Site Visit Fee Minimum Charge: ₹299)
Additional charges may apply for long-distance travel.
3. Emergency Roadside Assistance Cancellation
For emergency services including:
- Breakdown Assistance
- Battery Jump Start
- Puncture Assistance
- Towing Services
- Fuel Delivery
Once a technician or partner has been dispatched, cancellation charges may apply regardless of whether the service is ultimately used. This is because emergency resources are immediately allocated and unavailable for other customers.
4. Spare Parts & Battery Orders
If Ride N Revive has already procured spare parts, ordered batteries, arranged special inventory, or reserved OEM products, the cancellation request may be denied or subject to:
- Procurement charges
- Return handling charges
- Logistics charges
Installed products are non-cancellable and non-returnable unless covered under warranty.
5. Subscription & Membership Plan Cancellation
Annual Membership Plans: Membership plans may be cancelled within 7 days of purchase only if:
- No service benefits have been utilized.
- No complimentary services have been claimed.
After benefits are used, memberships become non-refundable. Corporate agreements shall be governed by separate contractual terms.
6. Customer No-Show Policy
A booking shall be classified as a No-Show if:
- Customer is unreachable.
- Customer fails to respond for 15 minutes after technician arrival.
- Customer fails to provide access to the vehicle.
In such cases, visit charges shall apply, refund requests may be rejected, and repeat no-shows may lead to account restrictions.
7. False or Fraudulent Bookings
Ride N Revive reserves the right to cancel suspicious bookings, suspend user accounts, block repeat offenders, and recover operational losses. Fraudulent activities include:
- Fake breakdown reports
- Prank bookings
- Multiple duplicate bookings
- Misrepresentation of vehicle ownership
8. Mechanic or Service Partner Cancellation
If a mechanic is unable to complete a booking due to vehicle breakdown, medical emergency, safety concerns, or unavoidable circumstances, Ride N Revive may:
- Reassign another technician
- Reschedule the booking
- Offer a refund where applicable
Customers shall not be charged for cancellations initiated by Ride N Revive or its partners.
9. Rescheduling Policy
Customers may request a reschedule instead of cancellation. Benefits of Rescheduling:
- Avoid cancellation charges where applicable.
- Retain booking priority.
- Maintain service continuity.
Ride N Revive will make reasonable efforts to accommodate rescheduling requests based on technician availability.
